Our father, Frederick Jousma, of Ewen Michigan, passed away on December 21st after battling cancer for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Dorothy Jousma of Grand Rapids, MI.

He is survived by two brothers, John Jousma of Alto, MI and Don Jousma of Grand Rapids, MI. Also surviving are his three daughters, Gayle (Evan) Sironen of Ewen, MI, Rae (John) Volkmann of Phelps, WI, and Angela (Bill) Kuhn of Boyne City, MI.

Fred had 6 grandchildren, Carolyn (Mike) Kerkela, Emily Vukusich, Jenny (Dorian) Bell and Laura (Mitch) Napralla, Megan Volkman and Bryce Volkman.

Fred also had 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his special fishing buddy, Roger Brady of Bruce Crossing, and ex-spouse and lifelong friend Ann Jousma Miller.

Dad was a hardworking man and held many jobs throughout his life.
